Merge
[edit]Ok, it seems strange to me, but they really want this article merged into this tiny town page. I'll do it but it seems like a mistake. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Brent Severnie (talk • contribs) 18:33, May 27, 2021 (UTC)
- It was at AFD, and a decision was made to merge it rather then delete it entirely. Please don't merge articles without providing attribution (I have done so) and please do not delete relevant material from the original article's talk page (I have restored it). Also, a merge result on an AFD does not mean that we keep every bit of the original article. There was very little in the way of reliable, independent or non-local sourcing for this race, and it does not appear to be very significant. There is no need to have 80% of this article be about this race. I will significantly trim the content. Meters (talk) 19:54, 27 May 2021 (UTC)
Events
[edit]Other events need to be added to this page. Having 1500 people show up for a race isn't that big of an event. New York City Marathon is 50,000, which makes it notable. Are there any notable evennts here?```` — Preceding unsigned comment added by Brent Severnie (talk • contribs) 04:00, 29 May 2021 (UTC)
